Realtime 2016.

Wood, rubber/ container, ball, TV screen, control technology.

In Realtime, the viewer initiates course of action with a physical action by putting a ball in a construction of pipes. The ball runs through the tubes and down through a TV, where it is seen as part of a video sequence. The ball falls straight down, also through a pipe - but in the fiction it is slowed.

Reality and fiction are synchronized. The ball in the tube is present, but as we see it fall into the video sequence, it is a representation of a reality. The ball thus jumps between different planes of reality and authenticity.
